Great book. Beautiful pictures. The best part about this book though is probably the details provided by the author. In terms of history as well as details regarding the artists behind the pieces/work that is included. Which makes this book a great resource for use by you or your friends should you be lucky enough to be able to afford to commission some of them.Overall a great purchase. Not giving it 5 stars because of shipment issues by Amazon. The book arrived with tears on the spine and scuffed. Clearly not new. I would try some of the other third-party sellers to see if "new" books actually arrive in mint condition which is the expectation!

Never opened the book, probably never will. Purchased for styling purposes only. 5 stars from an aesthetic perspective! Posting picture so others in my shoes can see what the spine looks like :)

I studied architecture and design in college, and I have been working in the design industry for several years. This book should be required reading for anyone new to design. I cannot say enough good things about this book. It is extremely comprehensive, and Ms. Lemieux took 3 YEARS to research and compile the information.The photographs are stunning. The book itself is thick and heavy, and just plain yummy. The author delves deep into each category of design, giving a history as well as telling you who is the best of the best in each category.DON'T MISS THIS BOOK! I flipped through it and it has good history and info. More tranditional styles, it wasn’t worth the cost to me. Don’t get it as a cocktail book. Only get it if your in the industry or die hard decorator and plan to read it. I may return it just because my sole purpose of getting it was for the shiny cover in the photo which it is not.

I love this book. I only open portions of it and put it away for another month or so....that way I always know to enjoy this well produced book on interior aesthetics and why its so critical to deveop a sense of aesthetics growing up.

This review is for the poor quality of the book itself, not the work of the author. No one seems to have made any effort to read this before putting it into print, because there are many, many mistakes in spelling or whole-word choices, odd paragraph cuts, and it is MISSING pages 74 and 75! Personally, I love this author and have enjoyed his work, so I recommend that you buy a different version of this book.

Great book Meyer really deals with the character.In it we see the sovereignty of God as well as the fault of the character. I was greatly encouraged by this classic read.

I was naturally very skeptical of this update, I'm very critical of any supposed extension of the Urantia Papers because I know there have been those who use the UB as a means of inflating their egos, but this update has been uploaded from an anonymous human author and there wouldn't be much gain in putting this out there unless there was legitimacy behind it.Despite various oddities in the format like repeated paragraphs, the content was useful and carries with it the charm of the original papers from the 1930s.If anyone is interested in discussing this curious update and the urantia movements potential for our ongoing development as a species moving foreward into the future, please find your way to the "Urantian Think Tank" discord channel, also accessible through the Urantia reddit page. :)

Reading another person's take on the Urantia Book is always a thrill but I did not find it at the profound, scholarly accurate language the Revelators maintained throughout the original revelation. I am always open to read anything and allow the spirit within to help me discern what is true by personal experience. I felt this was an attempt to define for themselves concepts they gleaned from the Urantia Book. I was looking forward to debunking this as a fraud but i can't. It's written with the same intelligent speech we know from the Urantia Book and it does push the narrative forward on several fronts. It would have earned five stars if it had just been longer instead of only 60 pages
